Epping Forest Rides

Forest Ranger Ian Greer will be leading rides in the Forest on the following dates:

Saturday 13th June:family ride

All rides start at the Queen Elizabth Hunting Lodge, Chingford, from 11am-4pm. You are advised to bring helmets, water & refreshments.

All rides start at 10.30am from underneath the 2012 Countdown Clock outside Stratford Station.

These leisurely 18 mile rides with a cafe stop are almost entirely off-road along paths suitable for all types of bikes.Places of interest include the Greenway, the Olympic Stadium, Three Mills, Royal Docks, Excel 2012 Venue, and the Thames Barrier Park.

For those cycling through Epping Forest High Beech church is open from 2-4pm serving tea and 20 different types of cake .

For those riding further out Stanford Rivers church serves tea and delicious cake from 2- 4.30pm

Blackmore church is open 2- 4.30pm the first Sunday of the month and is very popular with cyclists
